The hospitality industry is called upon to reinvent itself to face the pandemic which is hitting the world. The watchwords are now efficiency, sustainability and collective responsibility. With this in mind, at Sun Resorts, we are committed to the control of food waste in a concrete way by participating in the program ‘The Pledge on Food Waste’.
We are committed to reducing food waste in the production and consumption chain by at least 35%, by paying attention to the small details of our daily lives, with the participation of our entire team.
The Pledge on Food Waste adventure will be done with the help of LightBlue Environmental Consulting, an international consulting firm, and local trainers from the NGO FoodWise Mauritius.
