This gorgeous pool and beachside restaurant is the ultimate venue for a romantic dinner with your significant other under the restaurant's typical thatched pavilions, some of which are wonderfully private (with only one table under a pavilion). The a la carte menu boasts sophisticated dishes that centre on inventive and glorious local seafood and grilled dishes that are carefully created and elegantly presented.
While each dish on Magenta’s wondrous menu is absolutely delicious, the seafood beach barbecue that takes place every Friday is simply extraordinary and totally unforgettable, with gorgeous candlelit tables set up on the beach, under the beautiful Mauritian night sky. An unrivalled buffet is set up mere metres from the water’s edge with everything from fresh sushi and typical Mauritian palm heart salad to grilled shellfish and Mauritian coffee (made with a touch of rum). The magical evening spent on the beach is punctuated by the festive sounds of a traditional Mauritian Sega extravaganza performed around the bonfire.

Le Morne Beach Bar is the perfect beachside bar in a tropical haven. The new Gov’s Flowers at the Lounge, located in the iconic “Manor House”, is Inspired by the spirit of the Plantation style of Sugar Beach with a subtle touch of luxury and refinement to offer an unprecedented experience in the heart of the hotel. The service is reinvented around a floral concept with a personalised and discreet butler service offered to the guests.
In the morning, a “Plantation” Continental breakfast is served, in the afternoon ‘Tea-Time’ is served in a traditional style and in the evening, a selection of cocktails with floral aromas, rum flavoured with hibiscus or roses are sampled in rolling bars.

Located at the beach front, the Tides Bar offers pool side refreshments as well as a comprehensive list of international beverages, specialising in local island cocktails made with the finest plantation rum produced on the island. At lunch, a light pool side menu is served comprising of snacks, sandwiches, salads and local specialities. As the night sets in, the mood changes to a more sophisticated night spot with live music and entertainment, including local folklore and dancing to the resident DJ.
